Frequently Asked Questions

What is Ceramic Coating?

Ceramic Coatings are a super durable, super hydrophobic coating that bonds with your vehicles paint to form a protective layer.  Ceramic Coatings offer a number of superior benefits over traditional Waxes and Paint Sealants including longer life and self cleaning properties.  The hydrophobic nature of Ceramic Coatings not only allows water to easily bead up and roll off your cars paint, it also makes it easier to clean and maintain.

What is Surface Decontamination?

Our vehicles are exposed to all sorts of nasty conditions.  Rain, Snow, Wind, Salt, Sand, Tar, Bugs, and even environmental fallout.  These contaminants can embed into your vehicles paint and require more than your standard car wash to remove.  Surface Decontamination consist of either a chemical or physical process (or both) to remove those stubborn contaminants, leaving your vehicles finish squeaky clean.

Why does Ceramic Coating take so long?

A lot of the time it takes for a quality Ceramic Coating comes down to the prep work.  Taking the time to properly clean and polish the surface will generate the best results.  Anything that is missed or overlooked in the prep work will be sealed in by the Ceramic Coating for years to come.  Ceramic Coatings also need to cure in a controlled environment for 24 hours before being exposed to the elements and will continue to cure for up to two weeks after application.

What is Paint Correction?

Paint Correction is the process of mechanically removing scratches and imperfections from the painted surfaces.  Specialized machines paired with specialized compounds and polishes are used to 'buff out' imperfections in the finish.
